How to Add Space Between Icons on Dock of your Mac
Step #1. Very first thing you’ll need to do is to launch Terminal. Step #2. Now type the command exactly as it is given and hit Return. defaults write com.apple.dock persistent-apps -array-add ‘{tile-data={}; tile-type=“spacer-tile”;}’ Step #3. Now type killall Dock and then hit Return. You Dock will disappear for a moment but when it returns back, you’ll a space between two icons. To app spaces between other icons, you can repeat Step #2 as many times as you want, before proceeding to Step #3. You can also drag and rearrange the empty spaces by clicking on them and dragging to the position. In order to remove the space, simply right-click on it and click “Remove from Dock“.
